Take your receipt sir.

In Chile, merchants are required to give you a receipt for ANY purchase over 150 pesos. Most hand write a receipt using a standard receipt book that I think they get from the government offices because everyone has the same thing. I get the same receipt in Santiago that I do in Chiloé. Oh, and don´t even think of not taking the receipt. I have tried to get them to just throw it away, but, the merchant insist that I must take it out of the store with me.

I have read your “kissing” and now your “Receipt” posts, and I’ll bet that if when the man is writing you the receipt, you lean in cheek to cheek, and blow a kiss in his ear, he wont be so inclined to hold you up next time you come in…
